- Ensure timely communication of issues and points of interest within the team and business unit.
- Stay current on emerging trends and developments, and grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques.
- Engage in personal performance management and development activities, including cross-training within the team.
- Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status and progress of projects and all relevant day-to-day activities.
- Willingly assist others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching, and guidance as appropriate.
- Apply an intermediate level of knowledge to handle routine claims with minimal to moderate risk.
- Handle Core Auto, focusing on total loss vehicles and conducting settlement conversations.
- Responsible for Core Claims with limited settlement authority; escalate claims exceeding authority for approval.
- Maintain strong time management skills to handle a high-pressure environment and meet service level agreements (SLA), including phone call handling targets.
- Steeles, Saint John, Halifax), with remote and in-office work expectations as required.
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year of claims experience in Auto Insurance.
Industry accreditation and training generally required.
- Intermediate-level knowledge with related training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, diversity, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
