Overnight Care Professional (Caregiver)
Position Type: Overnight / Night Shifts (Part-Time)
Home Instead - Richmond/Surrey is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Overnight Care Professional to support a senior client during nighttime hours. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, patient, and committed to providing respectful, person-centred care.
Overnight caregivers play an important role in ensuring clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.
This client’s home is not accessible by public transit ; Provide overnight supervision and companionship
Assist with nighttime personal care, including toileting, brief changes, and hygiene
Support safe mobility if the client gets up during the night
Help reposition the client for comfort and safety if needed
Monitor the client’s wellbeing throughout the shift
Complete visit documentation in English using our Care App (training provided)
Comfortable working overnight shifts
Previous caregiving or home support experience preferred
Ability to communicate and document in English
Assets (Not Required)
CPR / First Aid certification
Food Safe certification
Experience supporting seniors with dementia or mobility challenges
Flexible overnight scheduling
Paid orientation and ongoing training
Supportive and responsive office team
Competitive hourly wage of $18.37-$20.96, depending on experience
