Redwoods Golf Course is looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our turf care team as a Grounds Person!
We are looking for someone with at least two seasons of experience on a golf course grounds crew. This is a part-time, seasonal position that lasts until the end of November, weather depending, with an average of 40 hours of work per week.
28.75 per hour
~ The opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor environment
Operate various groundskeeping equipment and power tools up to and including tractors, aerators, topdressers and greens rollers
Participate in unsupervised course renovation projects
Perform other duties associated with daily golf course and property maintenance, such as brush and debris removal, hand watering, operating irrigation controllers etc.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of golf and/or the ability to play the game is an asset
Two or more years of experience on a golf course maintenance team or in a related field
