Sales Associate (Retail Store)

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Sales Associate to maintain and develop our Pro Shop & Merch Division . We are looking for a candidate who has great pro sport knowledge of jersey designs and merchandise as well as experience with general apparel including sunglasses and footwear sales. The winning candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a level of service that has customers returning, a passion in developing and improving the area, and the awareness to assist other teammates to ensure success of their divisions.
Have 2+ years of previous/continuous experience in a retail environment
Knowledge and experience with a variety of pro sport merchandise, including NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, CFL and other local sport teams.
Are enthusiastic about setting up creative and attractive merchandising displays
Are known for the love of sport activities and enjoy helping others who share the same passion
Demonstrate customer service skills that are beyond measure
Enjoy reaching and exceeding sales targets
Knowledge of hockey gear (an asset)
Knowledge of bikes and bike apparel (an asset)
Knowledge of fitness equipment (an asset)
