Fountain Tire Nanaimo an established automotive repair shop is looking for a responsible safe and dedicated associate to join our team as an Experienced Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:
Installing balancing rotating and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
Completing specialty tire work which could include studding retread run flat nitrogen etc.
Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
What does it take to get on track
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive/tire industry is required
A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
A keen attention to detail
Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract
Basic computer skills
Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
