Your New Company A well‑established electrical contractor delivering commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the GTA. The company operates in a fast‑growing sector fuelled by increased demand for electrical systems and ongoing public‑sector infrastructure investment.
The individual will be responsible for preparing precise electrical estimates, overseeing cost control, and effectively managing electrical contracting projects. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time within a budget.
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate electrical estimates.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, equipment, and labour.
Develop cost breakdowns while accounting for material price fluctuations and supply chain factors.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure project alignment.
Maintain current knowledge of industry costs, technology, and construction trends, including increased demand for electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure electrical systems.
- Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
- Competitive compensation aligned with Toronto’s evolving electrical construction market.
This position may be considered for permanency upon completion of the contract period.
