Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office and 1 day remote)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java and related technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Kafka, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices. Exposure to MongoDB and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Implement Kafka-based messaging solutions to support high-performance and reliable data integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Support deployment activities and contribute to system monitoring and performance optimization.
- Work within an Agile/ITIL-aligned environment, ensuring proper incident, problem, and change management processes are followed.
7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and enterprise integration.
- Good knowledge of NOSQL databases.
Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
. Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
Strong focus on quality, performance, and scalability.
