Remote Field Operations Manager
$4800 - $6400 per monthArctic Range Adventure Ltd.
A Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day, on-the-ground execution of tours, acting as the key link between office management, field staff (guides, drivers), and customers. This role focuses on ensuring safety, high-quality customer service, efficiency, and logistical success.
Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and scheduling team members (e.g., Quality & Safety Compliance: Monitoring field activities to enforce safety regulations and company policies.
Guest Service Excellence: Resolving complaints and ensuring high-quality guest experiences.
Vehicles & Equipment: Maintenance of company fleet (vans, buses, atv, snowmobiles, etc.) Reporting & Administration: Preparing progress reports and managing operational budgets.
Experience: Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or field operations.
Outdoor: Leadership: Strong team management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Ability to manage logistics, inventory, and scheduling.
Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or in remote environments.
Spoken and written fluently in English. Fluency in Spanish or Japanese would be an added advantage.
This is a hands-on role that requires being on-the-road or in the field, rather than entirely in an office.
Flexibility is required to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during high season.
