CNC Mill Operator-Nights

Step onto a high-tech shop floor where digital precision meets heavy-duty metallurgy. We are seeking a technical craftsman to translate complex engineering schematics into flawlessly machined reality. Orchestrate Elite Setups: Command the initial stages of production by configuring CNC Mills and Lathes with absolute accuracy, ensuring every run is primed for success.
Decode Technical Blueprints: Refine Digital Sequences: Drive operational efficiency by programming and troubleshooting CNC code, proactively identifying ways to slash downtime and boost output.
Serve as the final line of defense for quality, employing advanced metrology tools to certify that every dimension meets exact specifications.
Architect Process Evolution: Lead continuous improvement efforts by collaborating with the engineering team to modernize machining workflows and safety standards.

The Machining Authority: You bring a sophisticated understanding of industrial fabrication, with proven mastery over the setup and control of multi-axis Mills and Lathes.

Night and day shifts available

Hands-on CNC machining and setup experience
Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting 3-jaw and 4-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers
Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample work pieces
Complete production and quality logs, including quality forms and daily product sheets
Operate lifting devices such as overhead cranes
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as directed by management
Minimum 3 years of machinist experience
2–3 years of CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience
CNC certificate is considered an asset
CNC programming experience is considered an asset
Knowledge of ISO and API is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of measuring tools, including calipers, OD/ID micrometers, height gauges, thread wires, and thread gauges
Ability to troubleshoot, detect abnormal running conditions, and maintain high-quality standards
Able to lift and move materials up to 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
