Summer brings a surge of energy, with visitors, festivals, live music, and near-endless daylight under the midnight sun. At the Sourdough Saloon and Midnight Sun, the Restaurant Manager plays a key role in shaping the guest experience and the pace, feel, and performance of the operation day to day. This role leads restaurant service across front of house, bar, and kitchen coordination, helping ensure the restaurants are well run, the team is aligned, and guests leave having had a strong experience.
The restaurants are well run, guest-focused, and consistent in both service and execution.
Guests experience food, drinks, and service that feel welcoming, well-coordinated, and worth returning for.
The team is clear on expectations, supported in their work, and consistently strong in performance and accountability.
Labour, inventory, and controllable costs are managed with discipline, supporting strong operational and financial performance.
Service, bar, and kitchen operations work together smoothly, especially during busy periods.
Leadership experience in restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality.
Experience training and building capacity in teams while holding service standards.
Experience managing labour, controllable costs, and operational results.
Collaborates effectively with restaurant teams and supporting departments.
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
This role offers the opportunity to lead two distinct Dawson restaurant operations in one of the Yukon’s most memorable communities.
