Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Therapeutic recreation/recreational therapy
or equivalent experience Work setting

Supervise professional staff, program leaders and instructors and volunteer staff
Conduct research and develop government policies related to recreation, sports, fitness and athletic safety and standards
Perform administrative tasks
Co-ordinate special events
Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development and administration of sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities
Supervise office and volunteer staff Supervision
5-10 people Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Certified therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS)
First Aid Certificate Security and safety
Criminal record check
Driver's validity licence check
Driving record check (abstract)
Medical exam
