McLurg High School is a lively collaborative learning community that values active living. We offer a variety of opportunities and are a full-service school. This person will demonstrate respect and integrity in his or her work with children families and colleagues and must believe that every child has the ability to become great! This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time caretaker at McLurg High School to commence as soon as possible. Position hours are eight (8) hours daily Monday through Friday. As a Caretaker you will focus on keeping the school clean and maintained to provide an optimal learning setting for our successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills be energetic have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.
This position includes janitorial work groundskeeping seasonal tasks and some maintenance.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Grade 12 education and previous training/experience in caretaking
A Firemans Certificate or WHMIS training would be considered an asset
