HR Administrator (Diversity Intern)

Resumes are being accepted for the temporary position of Human Resources Assistant within the Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting high volume recruitments. The primary responsibility is to assist in the efficient and timely execution of recruitment processes ensuring that all staffing needs are met in alignment with the organizations goals.

Provide front line (in person phone email and social media) customer service to all leaders employees and the general public.
With assistance from the Human Resources Associate respond to myHR inquiries via email phone or face to face.
Support mass seasonal recruitment activities.
Provide excellent customer service and support to hiring managers.
Coordinate and provide support for all recruitment software systems including iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System) and JD Edwards (Human Resources Information System).
Ensure proper recording routing retention storage and/or disposition of all documents received in the recruitment process in accordance with established policies and procedural guidelines.
Maintain high quality standards in the delivery of internal Human Resources services.
Monitor and report on metrics for seasonal hires.
Permanent Residents Protected Persons Convention Refugees Live-in Caregivers are screened to ensure candidates:
Have at least a Canadian Language Benchmark 6/7
Have international education and/or experience as listed below
Are registered or eligible to register with Starling Community Services
Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
Experience with providing recruitment support.
Experience in providing customer service support to employees and/or the general public via phone email and in person.
Understanding of general HR procedures and practices including but not limited to: handling of confidential or sensitive information recruitment and labour relations.
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals including employees agencies external contacts and the public.
Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive confidential issues.
Ability to maintain accuracy and work quality standards.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint & Outlook).
Experience with HRIS software such as JD Edwards and applicant tracking systems for recruitment would be an asset.
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

22.23 per hour
