REMOTE - Production Baker

• *JOB IS LOCATED AT A REMOTE MINE SITE in Northern Saskatchewan and is strictly a NIGHT SHIFT position. TO START ASAP
• *WE COVER YOUR TRAVEL (Flight/shuttle service out of Saskatoon, P.A., certain communities), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATIONS when at site!

**WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS.

** MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.

The baker reports to the chef and prepares a mass production of bakery goods (including sugar free products) for normal daily operation. Assistance with Breakfast operations is required during break coverages. Other duties include:

• Providing a list ingredient requirement to the chef for ordering.
• Completing special client function orders (ex. Cake decorating, cookie platters).
• Production of individual desserts, as per daily requirements.
• Deep cleaning bakery equipment regularly and/or as needed, including ovens.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and report all incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous Kitchen Experience is essential.
• Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen is a strong asset.
• Possession of Food Safe Certification considered an asset.
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to perform duties in a safe & efficient manner.
• Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
• Knowledge of safety procedures associated with working with hazardous products, including knowledge of WHIMIS.
• You must be a team player, who works well with others.
