Our client is a well-established, proudly Canadian-owned organization operating within the wholesale distribution sector. With decades of success and a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the business continues to grow and invest in its people, systems, and infrastructure. The role is based at their head office in Orangeville.
As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting monthly and statutory reporting. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this position will be responsible for general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, fixed assets, and supporting internal controls and audit processes. You’ll work closely with operational teams, contribute to process improvements, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in an inventory-based environment and partnering with a growing finance team.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation or currently working toward CPA
- Experience working in inventory-based businesses (manufacturing, food processing, or wholesale distribution)
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end reporting experience
- Experience working with large ERP systems (NetSuite considered an asset; 5% annual bonus
- 3 weeks’ vacation
- 4 days in office, 1 day remote
- Standard hours (8:30am–5:00pm) with flexible start times
