Here is an exciting opportunity to join our client in Calgary, AB as a Rotating Equipment Engineer

! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.

Provide technical expertise and leadership to troubleshoot and investigate complex reliability issues with rotating equipment and provide operations and maintenance teams with necessary direction for repairs

Improve existing asset strategies by working closely with maintenance, planners, and operations on reliability issues and failure trends, while refining condition monitoring programs

Use risk review approaches, hazard and operability studies, management of change process to maintain and improve area safety and reliability performance indicators

Lead the engineering design of minor plant and equipment modifications. Use technical knowledge and project management skills to prepare work scopes and coordinate complex repairs such as equipment overhauls and maintenance projects

Bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering

• 7+ years of engineering experience with machinery or material handling systems
• Experience in reliability management tools such as failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA), reliability centered maintenance (RCM), and root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
• Knowledge and expertise in centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, centrifugal and PD pumps, turbines and T&T valves, crushers, conveyors, sizers, and mechanical seals API 682 and API seal piping plans
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings such as PFD’s, P&ID’s, GA’s, piping isometrics, etc. TRS Staffing Solutions Inc. specializes in supplying engineers, designers, project managers, and other technical and professional services personnel to a broad spectrum of industries worldwide.
