Licensed and Student Opticians

A Student/Intern Optician assists in providing the Store with expertise on the ordering and dispensing of quality eyewear under the guidance of a Licensed Optician, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to the 3 Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart. The Student Optician is currently enrolled in the licensing program in the province of employment. Build collaborative relationships with Optometrists and other healthcare providers in Walmart and within the community.
Troubleshoot and problem solve issues to ensure excellent customer experience.
Must attend and complete all the required courses and must successfully complete all requirements for licensing within their province of practice within the time frame decided upon by the DM for professional services. Carry out other delegated tasks as outlined within regulatory frameworks.
Must be familiar with regulatory environment in their region and practice within it.
