ECSA Technical Support Analyst Location Calgary, AB : Your Opportunity: This Client Systems Administrator position is a Systems Analyst 2 position and is a member of the Connect Care application technical support team. Activities that you will be involved with and responsible for performing will help to bridge the gap between the technical environments of Connect Care and the clinicians and users utilizing Connect Care modules to provide patient care. You will be comfortable wearing a technical hat to maintain Connect Care infrastructure but will also be able to provide support to physicians and clinicians as they use our applications. This challenging opportunity will be fast-paced and there will an opportunity to work with IT professionals across multiple domains throughout the province.

As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications: Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications: Required Experience: - Prefer graduate of a recognized degree program in information technology, information sciences, or related discipline. Minimum educational requirement is diploma in information technology, information sciences, or a related discipline - Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in healthcare information technology - Experience in a healthcare environment preferred - Experience with Epic Systems - Experience with EPIC Workstation/Print Management is preferred. - Experience with mobile devices (tablets and smartphones) is preferred - Technical or Epic certification or comparable experience is required. - Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills - Strong customer service commitment - Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Ability to gain cooperation of a variety of stakeholders, including management, clinicians, physicians, and coworkers - Knowledge of linkages between processes of healthcare delivery and technology - Ability to set and meet personal deadlines and adapt to changes in priority - Ability to work in a team environment; experience in coordinating teams - Ability to write technical and procedural documentation - Equivalencies of education and experience may also be considered

Preferred Qualifications: As an ECSA Analyst, you may be responsible for the following: - Candidate is involved with deployment, proactive monitoring, and maintenance for Epic systems. - Installing and maintaining the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of the Epic system.
