Yes Capital a division of East Coast Credit Union offers alternative lending solutions for residential and commercial customers across Atlantic Canada. We are seeking a Accounting Officer reporting to the Managing Director of Yes Capital Atlantic the Accounting Officer is responsible for processing accounts payable accounts receivable and the reconciliation of general ledger and bank accounts. This role ensures all work is completed accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures while also providing support to the parent companys finance team as needed.

Enter accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions for Yes Capital.
Balances and reconciles general ledger accounts.
Assists with accounting-related projects.
Identifies and recommends improvements to policies and processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
Provides administrative support as needed.
Assists and serves as backup for other members of the Yes Capital team completing additional duties and projects as assigned.
Completed a diploma in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years related experience and/or training in an accounting environment.
Knowledgeable of accounting principles.
Competent in using various accounting and financial platforms including QuickBooks Online Paymentstream Sparcpay and Zoho CRM.
