Senior Health & Safety Advisor Safety

Transform workplace safety at FCC Canada Ltd as a Senior Health and Safety Coordinator in Vancouver, BC. Oversee safety practices, train employees, and ensure compliance with regulations every day.
In this senior role, you will be integral to fostering a safe work environment in construction and workshop settings. With over seven years of relevant experience, you will implement safety plans, conduct inspections, and educate staff on standards and expectations. Collaborate with project managers and engage with external safety agencies to mitigate risks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement daily safety plans
- Conduct regular safety observation reports
- Oversee HS activities and compliance documentation
- Analyze safety risks through inspections
- Recommend improvements for workplace safety
Requirements:
- 7+ years relevant experience in health and safety
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety
- Certification as a safety professional preferred
Lead safety initiatives and training at FCC Canada to foster a culture of safety and compliance in Vancouver.
