Recruitment Specialist (H/F) (Human Resources)

The Recruitment Coordinator is an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional with a passion for talent acquisition and candidate experience. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will support full-cycle recruitment activities while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building relationships, and are highly organized with strong attention to detail. This is an in-office role based in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. Hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies including reach outs through Indeed and LinkedIn
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screens
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS
Assist in drafting job descriptions and job postings aligned with business needs
Track recruitment metrics and provide reporting as needed
Ensure recruitment practices align with employment legislation and company policies
Assist with employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of a degree and a Human Resources Graduate Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience coordinating high-volume recruitment is an asset
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms (ADP WorkforceNow preferred)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
Ability to work onsite Monday to Friday
