Inventory and Warehouse Manager (fulltime)

Responsible for implementing all distribution and logistics programs to a high level of efficiency. Thus, continually searching to reduce costs and offering a superior level of service to customers. Maintains inventory by receiving, storing, and shipping product; securing warehouse; Maintains a safe and productive work environment whereby team has clear direction, goals, training and accountability. This position will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Superintendent.

This is a Full Time-Permanent Position.

Pick and pack orders timely; Receive and count stock items and record data in computer.

Sets the tone and expectations for daily activities using strong leadership skills and proper utilization of shift group leaders.

Works closely with customer service to align resources to demand.

Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures.

Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying warehouse system improvements.

Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.

Orders consumable items in a manner that prevents stock outs without carrying excess inventory. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; Maintains accurate inventory by conducting physical cycle counts; inputting data.

Secures warehouse and yard by turning alarms on; testing systems, monitoring cameras, enforcing policies.

Keeps equipment operating well by enforcing proper operation, training and implementing suitable Operator level PM’s, Supply detailed information on service requirements to maintenance; reading technical publications.

Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by developing and tracking key KPI’s relative to productivity, Inventory accuracy, customer complaints and the like.

Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods / services.

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status

Bilingual French English required.

• 2+ Years’ experience in warehousing or manufacturing for a high-volume multi-product manufacture.
• Experience as a Shipping Loader Operator, or equivalent, and has demonstrated a good working knowledge of safe and efficient truck-loading procedures is an asset.
• High School Diploma or GED required with some post-secondary education.
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Exposure to ERP systems requiring handheld picking.
• Experience driving PIV equipment (LPG sit-downs, reach lifts, pallet riders).
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX-JDE-SAP preferred).
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
