TRUCK DRIVER - DELIVERY

W.F. Botkin is currently seeking a Truck Driver. This position is responsible ensuring materials or equipment get to and from site.

Job Duties:

Oversee cargo handling and secure load including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with application Acts and government regulations

Haul material in trucks to site unloading area. Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment or other materials.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.

Perform basic truck maintenance, i.e. grease, check tires, etc.

Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicle(s)

Work closely with site crews and follow instructions from supervisors

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.

Ensure cargo reaches its destination in a timely manner

Requirements:

1-4 years experience operating a truck with a proven ability to maneuver extended loads

Ability to drive manual trucks

Valid Class 1A drivers license with the ability to get to and from site; Clean drivers abstract

Ability to perform strenuous, physical tasks daily.

Ability to work in a high paced environment

Be able to drive for long periods of time

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to tarp, access and enter boxes
