CBC Northwest Territories (NWT) is seeking an associate producer to help chase write and produce segments for our current affairs programs. We need a team player who brings creativity and initiative as well as some hands on experience working in a newsroom. We also need someone with experience gathering editing and producing audio for broadcast. Good writing and communication skills are essential as is knowledge of the Northwest Territories its people and its stories.

This role requires full-time on site presence in our Yellowknife newsroom.

Experience in booking guests writing question lines and writing and preparing taped segments.
Able to work flexible hours with potential overtime.
The ability to speak a language Indigenous to the Northwest Territories would be considered a major asset.
