We’re looking for a driven and execution-focused Business Development Specialist to join our growing SaaS company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for qualifying inbound opportunities and generating outbound pipeline through targeted prospecting, running early-stage discovery conversations and product demos, and driving revenue growth through new business opportunities. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product to ensure strong lead qualification and clean handoffs, contributing to a high-quality sales pipeline and faster speed to revenue as the company scales.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities in target markets through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow-up.
Conduct product demos and communicate value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Triage inbounds from our AI recruit partner and owned channels (i.e. website, ads), prioritizing and actioning accordingly.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in Salesforce and forecast revenue projections.
Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff post-demo to optimize close rates.
Stay informed on SaaS industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field..
- 3+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment, marketing or social media experience a plus.
- Experience selling subscription-based, cloud, or enterprise software products.
- Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., A competitive salary and benefits package (health, dental, and vision insurance)

We offer a starting salary of $60,000-85,000 CAD + commission
