This role sits within the Community Based Drug and Alcohol Responses Cluster, which delivers value-based, trauma-informed, and harm reduction care to improve health and social outcomes for people experiencing substance use and/or homelessness across Melbourne. The position provides primary health care to Innerspace clients, working under the supervision of the Harm Reduction Nurse Practitioner.

Assess and observe health needs of clients of Innerspace and provide nursing within scope
Work collaboratively with internal partners and external stakeholders to optimise safety to ensure optimal health outcomes

Enrolled Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
The EN Level 2 is required to hold an NMBA approved qualification in the administration of medications1-5 oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
