Support Canadian BU team and finance for day-to-day financial matters.
Assist in building and managing the BUs annual budget and quarterly forecasts for GATE Shared Services and Corporate leaders.
Support the review of monthly quarterly and annual financial results helping identify and explain material variances.
Help monitor progress toward BU financial targets and provide insights to ensure alignment with objectives.
Support GATE Ramco implementation.
Identify risks opportunities and timing impacts and communicate insights to senior leaders
Assist in year-end audits by providing accounting team required documentation for auditors and insight on results.
Work closely with accounting to strengthen month-end processes timelines and data accuracy.
Participate in various continuous improvement projects helping to enhance the performance and efficiency of the FP&A department.
Represents the VP/CFO in his/her normal course of business to ensure proper Governance and ensuring Company Policies and Procedures are followed and adhered to.
Works towards continuous work stream improvements precision and alignment to CFO Goals & objectives.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a closely related field required; CPA or CFA designation strongly preferred (candidates actively pursuing certification will also be considered). MBA is an asset.
• 3 years relevant work experience in a similar type role financial analyst/finance business partner
• Experience in overseeing preparation and ownership of budgets and forecasts an asset.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• Experience with aviation ERP and Oracle planning tool an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence Service Integrity Together.

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:
Position requires Level II clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
