Bachelor of Science, Nursing Instructor(s) - Part-Time

Sheridan is looking for outstanding individuals to join our team in the Bachelors of Science Nursing Program. This program offers students a comprehensive set of practical and theoretical skills and prepares them for the responsibilities and competencies of Registered Practical Nurses according to the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Sheridan seeks part-time clinical instructors to teach and oversee students in a variety of clinical placement experiences offered within the Bachelors of Science Nursing Program.

Delivering course curriculum in classroom and/or online which includes ensuring student awareness of course objectives approach and evaluation techniques;
Tutoring and academic counselling of students while evaluating student progress/achievement and assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of the students work within assigned courses;
You have a passion for sharing your knowledge with others and contributing to the advancement of your field.
You respect equity and diversity and value participating in and creating safe and inclusive environments at work and in the community.
You are an agile individual with an ability to respond and adapt to change while using your problem-solving skills to most appropriately and effectively support each students unique needs.
Master of Nursing degree or equivalent.
Current membership as an RN with the College of Nurses of Ontario with no restrictions to practice.
Working with Vulnerable Populations Womens Health Older Adults Mental Health and Wellness Acute Care Clinical Simulation.
Experience with Microsoft Word Excel Power Point Adobe Acrobat.
Experience in teaching and curriculum development at the post-secondary level or equivalent experience as a trainer in Healthcare.
Network of contacts with other professionals in the Healthcare industry.
