Outdoor Maintenance Technician

What You'll Do:

You'll maintain Squire's property portfolio to ensure functionality and condition, working professionally while adhering to RTA policies, keeping accurate records, and providing maintenance recommendations to Property Managers.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Oversee plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
• Complete unit turnovers for prospective tenants
• Provide proactive maintenance recommendations
• Perform minor landscaping and other assigned tasks

Record Keeping

• Maintain records using the online system
• Track timesheets and purchase orders
• Create and maintain a database with property insights
• Code and file receipts

Scheduling & Administration

• Coordinate with Property Managers/Operations Manager for resident, tenant, and guest entry approvals
• Assist with daily scheduling and provide time estimates for expense approvals
• Coordinate with approved vendors when required
• Proactively order supplies for site visits
• Maintain company equipment

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum two years' experience in a similar or transferable role
• Safe, effective use of hand tools
• Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, kneeling, lifting 50+ lbs indoors/outdoors)
• Knowledge of drywall repair, painting, doors, windows, fixtures, and basic plumbing
• Calm under pressure with strong multitasking skills
• Comfortable learning new systems and asking questions
• Familiar with Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS, iCloud)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent organization skills
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
