Investment Accountant - Remote Work

We are looking for a hands-on Intermediate Accountant to support full-cycle accounting, month-end close, AP/AR oversight, loan interest schedules, credit card tracking, and multi-currency transactions, investment-related accounting. This role is ideal for someone with 2-4+ years of progressive accounting experience who wants broader exposure and ownership of processes.

Prepare weekly payment runs and maintain payment schedules.

Track and reconcile credit card activity and ensure proper coding & receipts.

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain treasury records.

Record investment transactions (gains/losses, deposits, withdrawals).

Support year-end tax and audit preparation, schedules and documentation.

Ensure compliance with established internal controls as well as participate in process improvement initiatives.

Contribute to process improvements and workflow enhancements.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business.

• 2-4+ years of progressive accounting experience (AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end).
• Experience with QuickBooks Online. Multi-currency accounting is an asset.
• Advanced skill with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Strong ability to troubleshoot independently in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy as well as have an analytical sense with large volumes of data.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, be flexible with competing demand have a willingness to learn new skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
• CPA or CPA-track is an asset (not required).
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and a proactive approach to leveraging innovative technologies to improve accounting processes and decision-making.
