Technologist (Casual)

Regina Surgical Centre, a division of Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for a casual Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT)/ X-Ray Technologist.

The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT):
Will perform a variety of standard technical radiological examinations on patients, including fluoroscopy.
Will produce high quality diagnostic images for physician review.
Practices effective radiation protection, infection control, and safety techniques as applicable.
Handle all personal information and all personal health information according to the appropriate governing privacy legislation.
Perform quality assurance and quality control activities according to equipment manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable industry standards.
Ensure all images are saved and filed in the appropriate medical record.
Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Must be able to comprehend, speak, read and write English fluently and be understood by others with whom they are in contact
Demonstrated problem solving and critical analysis skills.
