Warehouse shift worker

Warehouse Front Counter

Hours: Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Interact with customers on daily basis at the Front Counter and over the phone Scan freight as per agreed procedures Organize and sort all freight to appropriate routes Move freight within the warehouse area as per requirements Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound material. Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc. Perform HIC duties Perform Front Counter Duties Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area. Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment Other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor. Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece, throughout shift. Demonstarted ability to work with customers both in person and over the phone Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints. Meet security requirements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions. Customer Service Experience High School Diploma Valid Class 5 drivers licence WORKING CONDITIONS:
