Join the BC Green Party as our Campaigns Director .
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader with a proven record in election organizing, strategic communications, grassroots fundraising, and movement building.
Working closely with the Executive Director, Party Leader, and others, you will help shape political strategy and implement priorities focused on growing supporters, volunteers, and donors across British Columbia.
We especially welcome applicants from communities historically marginalized in politics.
As Campaigns Director, you’ll lead on
Planning & Strategic Development
Identify opportunities to advance BC Green representation in the Legislature and in media, leveraging research and political analysis.
Develop political strategy, messaging, and resources to expand support and organizing strength in key ridings, in collaboration with senior leadership
Use data, analytics, and performance measures to guide strategic decisions.
Conduct campaign and project debriefs to improve future initiatives.
Lead voter identification, engagement, and mobilization efforts across digital and direct outreach channels.
Integrate fundraising strategies into campaigns and communications.
Develop and support candidate recruitment initiatives.
Ensure training and support candidates, campaign managers, and Financial Agents.
Create guides, templates, and resources for local campaigns and volunteers.
Communications & Issue Campaigns
Work with the Party Leader and MLAs to develop brand identity and communication strategies.
Ensure consistent BC Green branding and quality content across campaigns and channels.
Identify rapid-response opportunities to activate supporters and influence public debate and legislation.
Oversee media monitoring and evaluate campaign performance using data.
Coordinate responses to emerging issues and breaking news.
Lead, mentor, and support campaign staff to grow and succeed, ensuring capacity aligns with priorities and measurable goals.
Recruit, onboard, and support new team members.
Develop and maintain project plans, workflows, and systems that keep campaigns organized and strategically focused.
Ensure best practices in media relations, engagement and digital communications.
Work with the Executive Director and Finance & Compliance Officer to:
Ensure compliance with Elections BC finance and advertising regulations.
Support fundraising innovation and strong donor stewardship practices.
Minimum two years of experience in strategic communications or grassroots fundraising, preferably at a leadership level.
Strong project and campaign management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship-building skills with allies, stakeholders, and communities.
Knowledge of media relations and digital communications best practices for effective mobilizing.
Experience using CRM systems, broadcast email platforms, and organizing technology.
Experience leading onboarding sessions, training, and large volunteer events.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience using Salesforce, DonorDrive or similar.
Experience in data management and reporting.
Hybrid remote / in-person work
