Position: Senior Information Architect
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite/Hybrid : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Architect to support large‑scale information architecture planning, development, and governance across enterprise environments. This role involves conducting complex information architecture reviews, developing architectural artefacts, supporting enterprise and cross‑jurisdictional initiatives, and providing guidance to both technical and business stakeholders.
The Senior Information Architect will be responsible for:
Conducting comprehensive information architecture needs assessments for I&IT clusters and enterprise clients
Developing information/data models, guidelines, and standards
Providing advice, architectural interpretation, and expertise to project teams, service providers, and client clusters.
Lead creation of conceptual, logical, and physical information/data models
Provide architecture‑related content for project checkpoints and governance reviews
Ensure alignment with OPS policies, enterprise architecture principles, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale, complex information architecture projects
Strong background developing information/data models (conceptual, logical, physical)
Strong understanding of information architecture standards, policies, and best practices
Experience preparing architectural specifications for RFPs, and supporting bid evaluations.
Experience reviewing data models for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
Experience working in OPS or public‑sector information architecture environments.
