Full Time Kitchen Staff

Prepare vegetables and maintain kitchen areas as a full-time General Helper B at McGill University’s Royal Victoria Coll. location. French and English communication are required. Under the Executive Chef or Chef, this seasonal position supports McGill Food and Dining Services. The work includes vegetable preparation, salad preparation, cleanliness, deliveries, and storage organization. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 15:45, for 38.75 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vegetables for cooking

Prepare vegetables for salads

Assist with selected food preparation tasks

Clean vegetable preparation areas and machines

Receive supplies and organize storage areas

Requirements:

High School Leaving Diploma

Three months of related experience

Good communication skills

Ability to read and write English and French

Knowledge of French and English

Support McGill dining operations through vegetable preparation, kitchen cleanliness, supply receiving, and bilingual communication at Royal Victoria Coll.
