Development Officer (Full-Time/ Permanent)

Mission Services of London, a non-profit organization committed to serving residents of London and Middlesex County with compassion and dignity, is seeking a permanent full-time Development Officer (Monthly & Mid-level Giving). This role reports to the Director of Social Enterprise, Development & Communications. The Development Officer will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of donors, building meaningful relationships through engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Build and maintain relationships with monthly and mid-level donors, serving as their main point of contact.
Reach out to donors by phone or email to share appreciation, discuss monthly giving or upgrades, recruit event participants, and solicit sponsorships or gifts.
Identify potential legacy and major gift prospects and refer them to the Development Team.
Maintain accurate donor records and interaction notes in Salesforce CRM.
Track follow-ups and collaborate with the Development Team to provide stewardship materials and donor communications.
Assist with donor mailings, welcome packages, and database updates.
Perform other duties as required to support the Development Team.
post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in a donor relations or customer service relevant role.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems (Salesforce an asset).
Full-time, 40 hours a week.
There is an expectation to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Pay: from CA$24.00 per hour
