Inventory/Warehousing-Forklift Operator

Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bakery plant manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and transport products within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that products are selected according to customer specifications.
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage product locations.
Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance for atleast 3 years.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
Experience in order picking processes within a warehouse distribution environment.
Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, including order pickers and clamp trucks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and order processing.

• 8 hour shift
