Document and Review Management Specialist

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Document Controller to join our growing team in Mississauga Ontario.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager- Americas, the Senior Document Controller will be responsible for managing various aspects of document control, including the receipt, storage, retrieval and circulation of documents, review coordination, external submission and distribution control.
Control the identification, registration, distribution and retention of client, design, and vendor documentation.
Implement and maintain procedures, specifications required to ensure the efficient management of all documents throughout the Project lifecycle.
Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives, which support business priorities for continuous improvement.
Perform constant analysis of produced documentation to check for compliance with Project standards regarding numbering, graphic charts, used symbols and all others aspect related to document quality.
Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with Company approved procedures.
Proactively support other team members as required to ensure Project deliverables are met.
Impose strict confidentiality in the performance of the documentation management during the tendering phase and as a general manner all along the course of the Project.
Diploma or equivalent experience in Business or Administration is desired.
A minimum of 3 continuous years’ experience in document control.
Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within the document control environment and with colleagues across all business units.
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
High attention to detail and solid knowledge of the requirements and processes of vendor data.
Demonstrated knowledge in the use of an electronic document management system or database such as Sharepoint, ProjectWise, Aconex, etc.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Adobe.
