Automation Software Engineer - Tech Specialist

As a Software Engineer, you will develop improvements to our core business process through automation. This role focuses on identifying key use cases throughout our business processes and working with other employees to automate and improve them. You will work with various customers throughout our business to make our essential operations robust, safe, and easy to use. You will work with a variety of technologies to become a versatile developer, get things done, and improve our business.

Automate and improve high-stakes business workflows, integrating enterprise systems to ensure robust and compliant operations.

• Design high-quality systems that work reliably.

2+ years of backend and/or full-stack software engineering experience.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, effectively engaging with individuals at varying levels of technical fluency.
• Excellent project management abilities, including setting realistic timelines, communicating progress, and delivering on commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Familiarity with modern deployment and build tooling, such as Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Bazel, Apache Airflow, etc.
• Experience designing and building applications aimed towards non-technical stakeholders.
