The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production facility, including manufacturing, quality control, shipping, and receiving. The role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and managing a dynamic team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of balancing strategic leadership with direct involvement on the production floor.

Il s'agit de promouvoir l'excellence opérationnelle, de veiller au respect des normes industrielles et de gérer une équipe dynamique afin d'atteindre les objectifs de l'entreprise. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all plant operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Set strategic goals and manage departmental performance to align with company objectives.
Lead and manage teams across production, quality control, logistics, and HR functions.
Actively participate in plant activities, including hands-on involvement in operations as needed.
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, food safety standards (HACCP/SQF), and company policies.
Manage staff scheduling, performance, and development to maintain a motivated and high-performing workforce.
Collaborate with senior management to develop operational strategies and growth plans.
Address operational challenges and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation effectively.
Principales responsabilités :
Superviser toutes les opérations de l'usine, en veillant à l'efficacité, à la productivité et à la rentabilité.
Fixer des objectifs stratégiques et gérer les performances des départements en fonction des objectifs de l'entreprise.
Diriger et gérer des équipes dans les domaines de la production, du contrôle de la qualité, de la logistique et des ressources humaines.
Participer activement aux activités de l'usine, notamment en s'impliquant directement dans les opérations si nécessaire.
Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus afin d'accroître l'efficacité et la qualité.
Veiller au respect des réglementations en matière de santé et de sécurité, des normes de sécurité alimentaire (HACCP/SQF) et des politiques de l'entreprise.
Gérer les horaires, les performances et le développement du personnel afin de maintenir une main-d'œuvre motivée et performante.
Collaborer avec la direction pour élaborer des stratégies opérationnelles et des plans de croissance.
Relever les défis opérationnels et mettre en œuvre des solutions en vue d'une amélioration continue.
Gérer efficacement les budgets, les coûts et l'affectation des ressources.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, ideally in an agri-food or specialty food environment.
- Educational background in operations management, production management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety (HACCP/SQF) and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to optimize production processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to change, manage stress, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bilingual (French & English) is required; Spanish is considered an asset.
Exigences
- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience pertinente en gestion des opérations, idéalement dans un environnement agroalimentaire ou d'aliments de spécialité.
- Formation en gestion des opérations, en gestion de la production ou dans un domaine connexe.

- Connaissance approfondie de la sécurité alimentaire (HACCP/SQF) et des réglementations en matière de santé et de sécurité.
- Capacité avérée à optimiser les processus de production et à améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.
- Excellentes capacités de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décision.
- Solides compétences en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles pour collaborer efficacement avec les différentes parties prenantes.
- Capacité à s'adapter au changement, à gérer le stress et à contribuer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue.
- Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est requis ; l'espagnol est considéré comme un atout.
