Allied Universal is seeking professional Security Guard - Warming Center in Oshawa and Whitby, ON.
Job Title: Security Guard - Warming Center
Type: Full Time
Shifts: Overnights, 1900hrs-0700hrs or 2000hrs-0800hrs
Short-term contract starting now until April 1, 2026
We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Security Guard - Warming Center to join our team. responder support during security-related and life safety incidents and emergencies.
The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills and STRONG experience in dealing with the homeless, mental illness, drug use.
Access Control: Provide access control where applicable, to include managing access for
contractors and delivery personnel.

responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security

Monitoring and Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control
systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
and security management software.

• 2-3 years of experience working in corporate security.
• Must have a valid Provincial Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
