• Join ATS Industrial Automation as a Jr. Financial Analyst, where you’ll support core accounting and financial reporting activities that keep our operations running with precision. In this role, you’ll assist with month‑end close, prepare financial statements, complete reconciliations, and provide audit support. You’ll contribute to forecasting, budgeting, weekly cash flow reporting, and cost analysis while ensuring compliance with internal controls and tax requirements. You’ll also help maintain fixed asset records, support capital expenditure workflows, and deliver timely financial insights that empower teams across the organization.

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by gathering data and performing basic analysis.
• Assist with month end closing activities and maintain accurate entries in the General Ledger.
• Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in preparing year end audit support materials and help respond to audit requests.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
• Support the preparation of monthly forecasts by compiling data and running basic reports.
• Contribute to the development of annual operating plans and budgets by providing data and analysis.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
• Support internal control reviews by providing documentation and information as needed.
• Maintain and update fixed asset ledgers with appropriate support.
• Provide financial information and basic analysis in response to inquiries from department leaders.
• Support operational teams by preparing reports related to cost control and forecasting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Tax & Regulatory

• Assist in preparing monthly HST returns and gathering data required for Statistics Canada reporting.
• Support compliance with local and federal tax regulations by maintaining accurate documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Working toward a professional designation (CPA, CFA) considered an asset.

1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles (co op/internship experience is beneficial).

• Proficiency with MS Excel; JD Edwards) is an asset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with supervision.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support a wide range of financial activities.
