The Bishop Strachan School (‘BSS’) has been a leader in girls’ education since 1867. We help talented girls become fearless women who are able to navigate the world with intellectual curiosity, agility, and compassion. We are seeking highly collaborative teachers who are passionate about their subject areas and who actively seek the opportunity for interdisciplinary and real-world connections. The Supply Teacher is responsible for providing class coverage and supporting the student’s academic success. They will have their Primary, Junior, Intermediate and/or Senior Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certificate and embrace inquiry-based instructional strategies. They will also have the opportunity to be involved in the co-curricular life of the school through sports teams, clubs, trips and more!
Must have Primary, Junior, Intermediate and/or Senior Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualifications
knowledge of Brightspace an asset

A demonstrated passion for innovation and creativity in education
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the proven ability to develop relationships and a caring rapport with students and their families, and with teachers
Passion and desire to continually learn about the changing dynamic landscape of post secondary education
