Job Description – Production Worker

In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Production Worker is responsible for participating in a variety of the tasks and activities required to create high quality and reliable fireplace products. Ideal candidates will possess experience working with hand tools or working in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
Performing Assembly and/or Sub-Assembly work in a production environment
Performing finishing work, painting, and/or grinding
Packaging products
Utilizing equipment such brick saws and insulation cutters
Performing spot welding
Participating in the product warranty/replacement parts process
Ability to work closely with others in a production flow environment
Education/Training
~ Valid forklift ticket is an asset
Manufacturing/Assembly experience
Painting experience

As an employee in one of our manufacturing positions, you will join the Ironworkers Union, Local 712.
We offer competitive hourly wages as you gain seniority, with hourly rates starting at $24.41 per hour with guaranteed increases to $25.29 after the first 1,000 hours worked and a further increase to $27.37 after the first 2000 hours worked.
We offer a comprehensive benefits plan including: health, dental, vision, mental health coverage, and out of country travel coverage and $2.80 per hour employer contributions to your union Pension Program.

We're all about Continuous Improvement (we hope that you are too!) We have partnered with several credible external training providers to offer Training on site, such as Welder and Forklift certification, and other on the job training to help you grow.
