Senior Financial Advisor - Financial Planning

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team youll manage and grow a dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management creating comprehensive financial plans and providing exceptional client service. As a Senior Financial Advisor in the Imperial Service Team youll expertly deliver on CIBCs Imperial Service approach taking responsibility for a large portfolio and helping clients plan for todays needs and tomorrows goals. Youll proactively engage with many new and existing clients to make lasting connections understand their goals build their financial plan using advanced CIBC tools and give them the right advice to help them make well-informed choices for their future. Youre flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. To help deliver a great client experience youre flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

To successfully perform the work youll be on-site full-time.

You have current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing upon hire. Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.
Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Its an asset if youve completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
