SASKATCHEWAN INFECTIOUS DISEASE CARE NETWORK
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Research Nurse to support a community-based research project aimed at improving access to HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among individuals receiving opioid agonist therapy (OAT) in Saskatchewan.
This role integrates clinical nursing care with research coordination and community engagement, with a strong focus on harm reduction, cultural safety, and improving access to care for underserved populations.
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Saskatchewan
Experience in one or more of the following: addictions care, infectious diseases, public health, Indigenous health, or community health
Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed, nonjudgmental care
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally
Experience working in OAT programs or harm reduction settings is an asset
Certification or training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
Experience with community-based or Indigenous health research
Experience with phlebotomy and specimen handling
Familiarity with Saskatchewan health systems and community resources
