We are currently seeking a customer-focused Parts Advisor for our Guelph City Mazda location who thrives on creating exceptional first impressions and guiding customers in selecting the right parts for their needs. You're someone who listens actively, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service at the parts counter. Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Advisor plays a critical role in understanding customer needs and guiding them to select the right parts for their needs. Customer Relationship Management

Greet customers promptly and courteously, both in person and over the phone.

Respond to customer inquiries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.

Prioritize customer satisfaction by addressing issues as a first priority.

Deliver personalized service to enhance the customer experience.

Effectively manage complaints and ensure resolution aligns with dealership standards.

Accurately identify customer vehicle parts needs using historical data and current input.

Provide clear estimates on parts pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.

Handle incoming phone inquiries and return messages promptly.

Educate customers on vehicle care, manufacturer specifications, and warranty maintenance.

Maintain accurate records for inventory, shipments, and deliveries.

Ensure personal and team workspaces are clean and organized.

Maintain a professional appearance and high standards of hygiene.

Keep all forms, pricing guides, and department materials current.

Label, inventory, and assign parts with accuracy and attention to process.

Ensure all customer and inventory-related documentation is handled efficiently.

Complete all required dealership training and certifications.

Stay informed about current manufacturer promotions and dealership specials.

Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Proactively seek opportunities to promote the dealership and grow the business.

Proven ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships through active listening and clear communication.

Proficient in general computer applications and systems.

Solid mathematical aptitude.

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Skilled in negotiating mutually beneficial solutions for customers.

Track record of delivering quality service in high-volume settings.

Willingness and availability to work evening and weekend shifts as required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Post-secondary certificate or coursework is considered an asset.

Basic understanding of automotive mechanical principles is preferred.
