Senior Analyst Finance Supply Location Hybrid work in Mississauga, ON L4W 2R8 : Senior Analyst Finance Supply Who are we?
Burnbrae Farms is a 6TH generation Canadian family-owned company that is operated today by the 4th generation of the Hudson family. We are proud to be one of Canada's leading egg processors with farms, grading stations and processing operations across the country.
We partner with 400 local egg farmers across the country and we operate in five provinces; including British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec and Ontario with 6 farms, 2 distribution centres, 8 grading stations, 3 processing plants grading, boiling, cooking and shipping eggs across Canada. Term : Permanent, Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Day
Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite 2-days a week)
Reports to: Finance Manager
Bonus: Yes
Travel: Foster strong collaboration between Finance and Plant Management Leadership team to ensure accurate financial data processing, including detailed plant cost analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee the period-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, inventory reconciliations, plant cost statement analysis, and capital project tracking.
Partner with plant teams to develop and monitor annual budgets and periodic performance reports.
Collaborate with Operations and Costing teams to validate data used in standard costing processes.
Travel to various plant locations throughout the year is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Experience with SAP is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
- Accounting Designation or enrolled in CPA program is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment and cost accounting.
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
