Psychiatrist - Locum - Psychiatry

Practice Details The team in Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is seeking a Psychiatry locum to join our inpatient team from April 1st 2026- September 30th 2026 with flexible assignments of one week or longer including weekends as desired. As a Psychiatry locum at VJH, you will participate in the on-call rotation and provide psychiatric admission consultations, as well as ongoing, longitudinal care for admitted patients. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, team- based environment focused on delivering high-quality inpatient mental health care.

Doctorate in Medicine

Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

The locum physician is expected to be on site for a minimum of 10 hours. A temporary locum income guarantee in place from April 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026. $Minimum 10 hours on-site per 24-hour period.
