Sales Director - Energy Management Services

The Strategic Sales Manager for the Switchboard & Panels Division is a cross-functional role responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening market presence, and ensuring operational excellence. This position blends strategic sales development with procurement and operational execution to achieve division and company-wide targets in revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the Robertson Electric Switchboard & Panels program from head office.
Partner with Robertson Account Managers to provide customer solutions using available inventory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers influencing power distribution equipment procurement.
Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and emerging customer needs.
Support marketing initiatives, including presentations, case studies, testimonials, and warehouse production tours.

Procurement & Order Management
Source, negotiate, and manage program products to meet field application requirements while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Issue purchase orders aligned with program requirements, sales forecasts, and customer orders.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to optimize turnover and prevent stockouts.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to stage, package, and ship customer orders on schedule.
Write and process customer orders with precision to meet delivery and pricing commitments.
Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution.
Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to leadership.
Train internal sales staff on Switchboard & Panels offerings to enhance internal selling capabilities.
Lead initiatives that improve workflow efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.

Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within electrical distribution, switchboards, or industrial products.
Experience in procurement and vendor management.
Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
